Rotate Me 2 (Symbian) Nokia Application

By andy | May 27, 2008

So after the much talked about application for Symbian devices - Rotate Me, it seems over the past few months progress has been slim to none.

No official word from By Samir (the creator) however there is some further development on some other projects, these include…

  • rotateMe v1.5 - Early version of the popular application (bugs)
  • rotateMe v2.0 - Latest version of rotateMe
  • horlogeParlante (fr) - Software to give an audio reading of the time (English version in the making)
  • Nokmote - An application that allows you to perform tasks by shaking the handset (like a Wii)
  • ShutUp - Flip the handset to enable silent mode / stop the alarm
  • ShakeMe - An application that allows you to access phone features by shaking the handset

As you can see from the list, there are a few applications in the pipe line! Sit back, shake you handset and see how things pan out!

  1. Hi

I visited your blog and found the information useful. Thank you very much.

I got an N95 phone and I am interested in installing the Rotate Me app. I followed the steps on your site but I think it is no longer possible to submit the request unless I have a publisher ID.

Should I get one??? What would I have to do?

    Chris U

  2. You should be able to sign your applications with the Open Signed Online service. The link to do this is: https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page/public/openSignedOnline.do

This is IMEI restricted but doesn’t require a publisher ID.
